At the Colorado Pizza and Sports Grill the “Base Bites” host spoke with Chef Noah Hales who spills all the secrets behind their newly added show-stopping espresso-rubbed brisket. This smoky masterpiece is a star in the barbeque buffet lineup, cozied up next to homemade mac & cheese, collard greens, baked beans, and more. Also featured, is a conversation with Chef Kirkland Dunning, the grill’s operation manager, who gives the lowdown on their legendary Wing Wednesday—$0.75 wings as far as the eye (and appetite) can reach, featuring the dangerously delicious Grenade flavor for spice lovers. And don’t skip dessert: the skillet chocolate chip cookie crowned with ice cream is pure melty perfection - FANTASTIC!


Keeping to the mission, Capt. Matthew Chumaceiro, Former Space Base Delta 1 Executive Officer walks us through the base's history. Plus we get a look at the Aero Club – a must-see for aviation enthusiasts. Peterson SFB has one of the largest Aero Clubs in the country and offers aviation experiences for beginners and experienced pilots.
